"Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
This is the Lord's Prayer that our Lord Jesus Christ taught to his disciples. He taught them to pray not first for their own needs, but for God's kingdom. As we are the disciples of Jesus Christ, this is also a teaching for all of us from our Lord.
Therefore, today I would like to invite all of you to build God's kingdom on earth. Why? Because our Lord Jesus Christ himself came down to build God's kingdom on earth. We are here to join him, and we are called to build God's kingdom on earth. How can we build God's kingdom on earth? Yes, God's kingdom can be built through close fellowship with God. Without our God, we cannot build God's kingdom.
Therefore, I would like to invite all the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ to build God's kingdom on earth through prayer. Prayer is the time when our spirit and the Holy Spirit have communion with God. Through it, we enjoy and sense the heavenly realm, which gives us an unparalleled example of how happy and peaceful our lives can be.
There may be many people who have experienced that deep communion with God on earth. Even though we have not yet reached heaven, we feel as if we are already there. We must share this taste of a spiritual, prayerful life on earth even before we reach heaven.
Therefore, today I would like to invite every believer in Christ to join together in a global prayer movement. Because Jesus said, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." God's will is for a world where everyone experiences love, peace, joy, justice, and inclusion—where we love and care for one another. That is the heavenly life of God. God wants each one of His children, created in His own image, to have that eternal life.
Today, after accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and experiencing the power of prayer, if we do not join hand in hand, we really cannot compete with the clamoring voice of this challenging world. As followers of Christ, we need to join hand in hand to pray together. We must form a team of global prayer warriors so that whenever we pray, heavenly love and heavenly angels join us. Together, we can proclaim the love of God. The will of God will be done on earth through our preaching, our prayer, our service, and our witness.
If you do not have time to pray, you can do one more thing: we are going to build a global prayer house, a 24-hour prayer house. You can also be a contributor to help complete this in 2026. We are in a hurry to pray for the world because it is one of the most ardent needs of our time, whether the world accepts it or not.
Jesus is coming soon. Before the second coming of Jesus Christ, we as believers and as God's family need to ensure that everyone is under God's will. We want everyone to be doing the will of God when Jesus Christ comes.
Let us pray.
Dear God, thank you so much for giving us life and the time to pray together for the world, that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Please touch our hearts, and open our eyes and ears to hear Your voice and to respond to You, our God, according to our strength. In Jesus' name, I pray. May the Lord touch each one of our lives. Amen.
